About The Pier

The elegant Georgian Grade II listed building, which has been extensively refurbished since 2012 offers 5 light and airy en suite guest rooms : 4 king-sized bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, (one of our double bedrooms can be turned into another twin if required) – all with quality bedding and fine Egyptian linen, they all offer modern convenience whilst preserving a traditional style.

All rooms are equipped with TV, beverage tray, and wifi and are non smoking.

A choice of continental or hearty English breakfast is included in the price. With just five guest rooms, you can be sure to enjoy our reputation for friendly service.

The Pier’s facilities and restrictions:

  • Ample FREE local on-street parking is available, with parking permits issued on arrival.
  • Free Wifi is available throughout The Pier.
  • Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the premises of The Pier.
  • Gluten free /vegetarian breakfast is available, to be mentioned when booking or on arrival.
  • The Pier has no facilities to accommodate young children or pets.
  • The Pier is a Grade II listed building and could not be adapted for wheelchair users and there are no ground floor guest rooms.
  • Check in and check out times : Unless prior arrangements have been made, guests may check-in between 5pm and 8.30 pm and are expected to check-out by 11.00 am. It would greatly assist us if guests could indicate their approximate arrival time.
  • Self check-in service available from 1pm, ask for details if required.
