How To Get To Us

By road

  • Head towards Portsmouth on M275 and at the end of the motorway, continue straight on the A3.
  • Follow signs to “Seafront” over three roundabouts and past three sets of traffic lights for about a mile.
  • Continue along several consecutive terraces (A288) (Hampshire Terrace, Landport Terrace, Kings Terrace) when you will come to a roundabout with a large “SOUTHSEA” sign, which is the intersection of the Terraces with Kings Road.
  • Go straight on at this roundabout (2nd exit) into Jubilee Terrace and eventually Bellevue Terrace.
  • The Pier is No2 Bellevue Terrace and can be recognised by its yellow canopy bearing its name.

Although there are parking restrictions immediately outside The Pier, you should pull in temporarily to unload luggage and to obtain a parking permit and parking advice. (The permit entitles you to park in any parking meter bay.)

By public transport

  • By Train to Portsmouth Harbour Station and take taxi (three quarters of a mile) to Bellevue Terrace.
  • By Coach to “The Hard” Portsmouth and take taxi (three quarters of a mile)
  • By Hovercraft from Ryde IoW to Southsea and take taxi (quarter mile) or  walk (5 minutes) to Bellevue Terrace.
  • By Wight Link catamaran ferry from IoW to Portsmouth, and taxi (three quarters of a mile) to Bellevue Terrace.
  • By Continental Ferry to Portsmouth, then taxi (2 miles) from the port to Bellevue Terrace

If you prefer to walk rather than take a taxi, you can obtain a useful map published in the free official Visitor Guide: “Portsmouth, the great Waterfront City” via www.visitportsmouth.co.uk
